Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide have launched the
eagerly awaited tickets for The Belfast Indoor International Horse
Show as a full-scale promotion drive kicks off.
The Belfast International runs from November 27th through to November
30th, and will provide hours of fun, laughter, excitement and entertainment
for adults, families and children of all ages with the opportunity
to experience the magic, mystique and celebration of the horse in
the comfort of the Odyssey Arena.
After the whirlwind launch of Northern Ireland’s sporting and
social event of the year, tickets for the Belfast Indoor International
Horse Show have been launched on sale and every purchase promises
a show to remember filled with explosive family fun entertainment.
Careful consideration was taken during the planning of the event
in an effort to reach an increasingly diverse audience. The promotion
team have gone beyond the realms of the normal Horse Show to bring
seven three-hour theatrical performances with world class international
show jumping never before seen in this country and the event has
been reported as an exciting new step for both Northern Ireland
Sport and The Odyssey Arena.
We will have it all in the show programme, from good clean family
fun to that ultimate adrenalin rush, while television personalities
and a host of celebrities and sporting hero’s come together
with these sensational performers to stage a competitive team challenge
for charity.
Capture the excitement and nostalgia of Jean Francois Pignon's breathtaking
display during every performance; experience the unique trust between
man and his horse or the excitement and fabulous family fun of the
Irish Shetland Grand National, they might have short hairy legs
and reach a height of no more than 107cm, but racing fit Shetland
ponies certainly know how to shift! They can gallop at speeds of
up to 20 miles per hour, taking 2ft 4" high brush fences in
their stride.
Hold on to your seat for Saturday evening’s Odyssey Puissance,
the famous big red wall, this is a high jump for horses, which can
be raised to as much as 7ft. Sunday afternoon’s Six Bar competition
will see six upright fences in one straight line across the diagonal
of the arena form the course for this competition. Clear the six
and you are through to the next round, take down a pole and you
are out.
Or will it be the big one on the Sunday night The City International
Grand Prix. The richest prize pool of the show, big fences and difficult
courses and the biggest names in show jumping make this a true test
of horsemanship. The Grand Prix is the closing event of the show
and definitely one to watch, for high drama and serious international
show jumping for a serious prize fund.
