Equissage Young Achievement Award

The search for this year's winner of the Equissage Young Achievement Award is hotting up.

Scouts from the South East Eventer's League are currently out and about keeping a keen eye on competitors to find the rider they think is the most deserving.

Riders can also be nominated for the award so if you know of a young event rider based in the South East who is 25 or under please contact the organisers.

After an exceptional season, young rider Molly Key from Chiddingfold in Surrey took the honours last year.

The prestigious Young Achievement Award is open to all South East eventers aged 25 and under and is supported by Equissage, the leaders in equestrian physiotherapy.

The winner also receives a week's training with top event rider Tiny Clapham and the Equissage Trophy.

League Co-ordinator Roland Clarke says: "The Young Achievement Award is important in identifying and rewarding young talent in the South East and the competition is gathering momentum as the season progresses.

"The League aims to encourage the growth of eventing throughout the region at all levels and believes in building for the sport's future."

"We wish everyone luck and no doubt there will again be some outstanding achievements this year. We very much look forward to awarding the prize.

"Tiny Clapham is a big fan of the Equissage physiotherapy system which she used on all her horses in the yard and we hope the winner of the award will learn a great deal from spending a week with her."
