Sinclair & Rush Grip for the Revolution

Sinclair and Rush has announced that is has developed the Softex grip cover for the shaft of the revolutionary Lite Lift range of hand tools.

The Softex grip cover provides a non-slip and easy to handle foam sleeve for the shafts of new forks and shovels, adding to the ease of use of the Lite Lift tools. Developed to make light work of garden, stable, farming and light industrial cleaning the Lite Lift products have a unique design and flexibility that allows the handle and pivot point on the tool to be adjusted to suit the height of the individual user, reducing back strain.

Sinclair & Rush has developed the Softex grip cover for the shaft of the revolutionary Lite Lift range of hand tools

Designed by Tish Fearn, the winner of the '2003 British Female Inventor of the Year', the Lite Lift is light-weight aluminium and plastic in construction, therefore the sleeve system could not dramatically increase the implements over-all weight, but had to increase the systems tactile feel, adding to its ease of use. Manufactured in one piece using a versatile dip moulding process, Softex is resistant to cracking and tearing.

Peter Boulton, Sales & Marketing Manager of S&R commented, "We were able to work with Tish Fearn from her prototypes to the final versions of the tools. Our Softex grip cover is incredibly lightweight and long lasting adding to the quality of the Lite Lift products. Our manufacturing capabilities also allows us to be flexible in the range of colours we can offer, so matching the colour co-ordinated products Tish is developing".
