Show Jumping:

  • Germany: The 5* CSI5* show in Hamburg was a battle for the ages, with young British rider Harriet Dermott proving her mettle against the experienced European giants. Riding her top mare, Chillipop, Harriet managed a faultless round in the €250,000 Grand Prix, finishing in third place behind Daniel Deusser and Christian Ahlmann.
  • USA: The World Championship at the Kentucky Horse Park reached its climax on Sunday. Riding a dynamic round, McLain Ward secured the coveted title, becoming the oldest rider ever to achieve the title. His fellow American, Kent Farrington, was closely behind in second.

Eventing:

  • France: French star Nicolas Touzaint proved why he's a force to be reckoned with at the CCI5* in Saumur, securing the victory riding his experienced partner, Absolut. He was followed closely by German rider Michael Jung in second, and Britain’s Oliver Townend in third.
